... Back To School With Spiral Backpacks ...

It's finally here!
Spiral's Back to school collection is ready to keep your kids
ahead of the pack this term.

Noah was recently sent one of Spiral's superly cool backpacks ready for his return to Year 6!
He's truly going to be rocking his back to school look with this awesome Galaxy Saturn design OG backpack.
RRP £24.99

Spiral is an eye-catching alternative to the outdated idea that backpacks are simply an item to carry your day to day belongings.
Spiral backpacks are a canvas to make a statement about our character – and make sure we look good doing so!

Bag Features

- Hard wearing premium Polyester fabric
- Reinforced and adjustable back straps
- Additional back padding
- Spacious front pocket
- Media port
- Grab handle
- Custom Spiral labelling

Interior features:
- Large, 18L capacity
- Hidden zip pouch
- Inner laptop / book divider

Dimensions - 29 x 14 x 44 cm

As soon as Noah saw the bag he was in love, he's had the same backpack since Year 4 so he was over the moon to get such an awesome bag as a replacement.
He's usually pretty fussy over bags and every time I show him a new one he'll always decline and say he likes his current one better.

I knew he would love this bag as his favourite colour is purple and he always enjoys looking at the stars with me and now he has all of that to carry around on his back.

There is plenty of space for all his school books and his homework will no longer go in scrunched up as he'll be able to place it neatly in the laptop section.
He also takes a ridiculous amount of reading books into class for what reason I am unsure of, but I know with the Spiral OG backpack he'll have plenty of space to do so.

Back To School Round Up

As much as I was dreading the summer holidays they have flown past and it's actually been really nice having all the boys home.

They're weren't half as many fights, tantrums or moaning that I thought was going happen and everyone minus Ru got on with each other.
So really it's been rather pleasant.

With all the boys heading back to school on Wednesday, Noah starting Y5, the Twins heading off into Y1 and little Ru starting Pre School I've had to get my head into gear and make sure everyone has what they need to start the new term.

One thing that I was pretty rubbish at last term was making sure the Twins had decent water bottles, so when I was asked if I wanted to receive these cool Brita Fill&Go active water bottles I was more than happy to say yes.
They come in four colours,
Blue, Green, Purple and Pink.

Key Features;
Eco-Friendly, convenient and economical,
Filters as you go,
Designed for great tasting water,
BPA free

The filter should be changed every 4 weeks.
You can find these here for £12.00

Unlike the Twins Ru won't receive a hot meal in nursery so he'll need to take a lunchbox in with him on the days that he's going to be in all day.

This awesome tinned Robot will be perfect for him to carry in.
Knowing Ru he'll won't eat whats on the inside but he'll enjoy playing with it whilst the other kids eat.

You can find this Lunchbox over www.findmeagift.co.uk for £14.99*

Next on the list was bags....
Noah's rather attached to his backpack so said he didn't want a new one just yet, but the twins really wanted to upgrade from a school book bag to a character backpack.
So I found a TMNT bag off amazon for Oscar and Alex has the Minion backpack which we were sent in our Minion Back To School Bundle.
I tried to get Rupert a school book bag but by the time I went to order it they were all sold out.
So I went back to trusty amazon and found a Lightening McQueen book bag.
Ru was delighted when he saw it.

Whilst browsing a Facebook selling site I came across someone selling two Joules raincoats.
One Ru's size and one the Twins size.
£10 each!!!
As it was a proper bargain I said I would take them.
They're in a great condition and look as good as new.

I decided to try and find another one for Oscar as Alex took the Dinosaur one but try as I might I couldn't find another bargain, so I put in Hatley raincoats on google search and ended back on amazon and found this one for £15!
I decided that was another good steal so I bought it and Ozzy loves it.

We haven't found a coat for Noah just yet but he's given me a run down on what he wants in a coat...
Camo....must be camo
well yeah thats about it lol!

Another must before school starts is Back To School Haircuts!
We took them all to where Jon and Ru get theirs done and they all managed to get it done at the same time.
Ru's barber wasn't there so he didn't end up with a hair cut, so he'll have to wait until his dude is back.

We still have to buy Noah some stationary and we're expecting Oscars school shoes to turn up today, as he wanted ones from Next as he didn't see any he liked in Tesco.

Noah got some new Etnies (as he doesn't need to wear school shoes, as at his school they have indoor shoes and outdoor shoes. So outside he wears his trainers and inside he wears some plain pumps.)
Alex got some light up school shoes from Tesco but only one lights up, so I'll have to take them back next week before he starts school.

Back To School With Despicable Me 3

With the end of the 6 week holidays in sight its around now that most parents start to think about getting everything organised and buying those back to school essentials.

The boys were recently sent an awesome Despicable Me 3 Back to School bundle.
The boys all love the Minions and are desperate to see the new Despicable Me film so when they saw all these goodies they literally jumped for joy.

First up is this rather grumpy Posh Paws Jail Minion Tim..
Ru quickly swiped this for himself before the others could even say they wanted it.
He's super soft and his googles are hard plastic, so they stand out nicely!

He's perfect to cuddling up to after a long day at school / nursery.

You can buy him over on amazon for £12.11

Something that I'm always wishing I had handy but never do are tissues....
With all these I think I will be good all through winter!

16 packs on handy Minion tissues,
These will be great to keep a pack in each of the boys school bags plus some in my handbag,
1 box of 60 Minion tissues which ill probably keep in the van,
a pack of handy wet wipes - perfect for Ru as he's always touching things that make him filthy
and a pack of Minion plasters - I know these won't last long because as soon as there are plasters in the house the boys always seem to find invisable/teeny tiny cuts all over their bodies that demand plasters straight away.

Some cool Despicable Me 3 goodies,
A light up fan with candy,
a water gun filled with candy,
a digital watch,
and a handy I Didn't Do It torch.

The twins haven't actually realised they can eat the candy thats inside yet, I'm waiting to see how long it takes them.
The fan is great at keeping them cool after they've been zooming around the garden on their bikes and Alex loves pretending to shoot everyone with the gun.

You can get a fan pack of two from amazon for £13.31

Noah's been after a watch for a while so was more than pleased when he saw this Minion one.
He's a bit rubbish when telling the time so hopefully now it won't take him long to actually get the hang of it.
Ru took the torch, I thought it would need batteries but it actually comes with them so you can use it as soon as you open it.

The watch is currently on sale for £7.95 on amazon.

Next in the bundle was some very cool school gear..

A brand new Despicable Me 3 back pack that was filled with an a4 ring binder, a note pad, a pen and a mini pencil case.
Alex has decided he wants the bag and Noah got the rest.
He'll use the stationery more than the twins and now being in year 5 he'll have to take more of his own stuff into school.

The only place I can find this to buy is over on eBay for £10.95 plus postage.

Next up is this awesome snack cup ....

The boys have seen these being reviewed by some of their favourite YouTubers and were amazed that they now had one.

Just perfect for Ru who loves his juice and usually leaves his snacks all over the house for the dog to get.

Now I can put his little snacks in his cup and the dog will never be able to take it (unless Ru gives it to him, which he usually does.)

You can find a similar cup on here .

Last term we bought Noah a swimming bag that was absolutely useless and ridiculously hard to carry  as the straps kept breaking, so when Noah got this out the box he was insistent that it would be his new swimming bag.
It would also make a pretty decent PE bag too.

Last but not least, I Didn't Do It Lunch bag & cup.

The twins get free school meals but we pay for Noah to have school dinner which he always complains about and says that he absolutely hates them
I've always been a meanie and said no to doing packed lunches as I'm lazy and hate making them but now seeing as Rupert will be at nursery full time and has to have a packed lunch I've said I would do it for Noah too.
Which made him do a happy dance and then demand I do him ham baguettes everyday....seriously now do you see why I hate packed lunches?!?

So this Minion lunch bag will be great for him to take it.
It's big enough to get a decent amount of food in,  and the handy drinks pouch is great to keep his water bottle together...as he's the sort of child that would lose it as soon as he stepped inside the school gates if it isn't attached to something.

Have you got any Despicable Me 3 back to school goodies, if so let me know in the comments below.
