#MySundayPhoto .... Mother and Son

I haven't linked up to #MySundayPhoto for a long time and I've actually really missed it.
So I thought I'd re-join in with the fun by sharing this photo of Oscar and I taken at my wedding.

I'm still working my way through all the wedding photos and every time I go back through them I find hidden gems such as this.

I have shared a handful of photos already and if you haven't seen them and would like to then click here.

...Wedding Photos...

We just received our professional photos!
Over 700 of them, I'm not sharing them all but he a just a handful of my favourites.
Jon and I both hate our photograph being taken so we were extra judgemental over all the ones of ourselves but the more I look at them, the more I start to like them.

Matthew from Mdknightphotography really was great and managed to capture everyone having a great time.

The day was amazing and it couldn't have gone any better.
My mum did a fab job at being my wedding planner and without her it wouldn't have been what it was.

It wasn't a big do it was very small and low key, but that is just how Jon and I wanted it to be.
I'm not going to say too much as I could ramble on for years.
I'll probably write a proper post when I find the right words on how to describe it.

Enjoy x

Wedding Fever Has Well and Truly Hit ...

So it would seem I'm getting married in 6 Weeks Time!!!
Whilst Jon was in hospital I told him my Gramps was coming to visit in November and through his drug misted mind he suggested we plan a quick wedding in the local Registry office whilst he was here.

Well......
That tiny little wedding has spread into a fairly decent sized wedding at our local church!

Even thought it's bigger than we were planning its still really only family.
Parents, Siblings + offspring and partners, Grandparents, Aunts & Uncles + Cousins and then a couple of our best friends.

We had to draw the line somewhere, as if we didn't we'd end up inviting everyone and our little simple wedding that wasn't meant to cost the earth will start being more than we can handle.

We've been together long enough to not want all the bells and whistles of a normal wedding and just have it very family oriented and very simple.
Say our vows in front of the people who really mean the world to us and
then enjoy a nice meal afterwards in a local venue then head back to ours for more drinks.

It's going to be a very boho wedding, which is right up my alley.
My dress arrived on Tuesday and I'm in love, I want to wear it all day every day!

For it only being a few weeks away I thought I would come across quite a few hurdles, but everything I want I seem to be getting.

The Church is free, the reception venue is free, the florist I want is free, my dress is perfect, I've found the perfect cake, I have hair and make up planned for the day and the boys outfits are being planned out.

Now it's just getting all the little bits to get sorted out.
This is where I'm started to go a little wedding mad over. There's so many nice things about that I keep seeing and wanting.

I truly have well and truly caught the wedding fever and I'm constantly thinking about all the things  we could do and have to make it even more special.
I'm even dreaming about wedding decor!

I am scrolling through wedding website after wedding website.
I'm buying bridal magazines here and there and boring people to death about all things wedding.

I really never thought I'd be like this as I've never really obsessed over getting married, its probably good that its in a few weeks time as I'd probably be disowned if they had to put up with it much longer.
