#MySundayPhoto // Festive

I recently read some Festive photography tips from Motherscuffer over on Jennie's blog  and thought I'd try my hand at trying to get some good ones of the boys.

None of the big boys wanted to get involved and Ru my usual photo happy child wasn't really feeling it either.
So this was the best shot.

I will attempt to have another go when they're all feeling a little more willing to indulge me.

#MySundayPhoto .... Mother and Son

I haven't linked up to #MySundayPhoto for a long time and I've actually really missed it.
So I thought I'd re-join in with the fun by sharing this photo of Oscar and I taken at my wedding.

I'm still working my way through all the wedding photos and every time I go back through them I find hidden gems such as this.

I have shared a handful of photos already and if you haven't seen them and would like to then click here.

Link ~ #MySundayPhoto

Introducing our newest member.... Little Link

Named after the dude from Zelda.
We've had him for two weeks now, but with Jon being in hospital I haven't found the time to write about him.

When we got him he was covered in fleas, rather skinny and had very sore eyes and a bloody nose.
With a quick trip to the vet and some TLC he's doing really well.

He gets on really well with our dog Ray but has still to make a friendship with my cat Indie.

MySundayPhoto // Flying High...

We took the boys off to Snettisham Beach this morning to test out the kites the twins were given for their birthday.

They flew better than we thought they would and they were super easy to put together.

Even little Ru was able to keep control of the bumble bee one.

Sunday Morning Vibes

Sunday morning lay ins are still non existence in this house.
Instead we're all up by 7 (at the latest) and greeted by an array of superheroes / animals.
As the boys pretty much fall out of bed and into a costume.

These boys would live in costumes 24/7 if they had it there way!

Breakfast is always finished by 8 and I'm left with the aftermath to clean up.
Which always resembles a bomb site, how they can make so much mess just from four bowls of cereal is beyond me.

But before the bomb squad sets up, a big cup of coffee always comes first.

What are your Sunday mornings like?

That Hygge Feeling ....

'Hygge (pronounced hue-guh not hoo-gah) is a Danish word used when acknowledging a feeling or moment, whether alone or with friends, at home or out, ordinary or extraordinary as cosy, charming or special'

I love everything to do with the Scandi lifestyle, as it just really appeals to me.

When we moved into the house we knew we really, really, really wanted to Hygge it up.
Especially the lounge/snug.

This is the one room we only really use in the evenings, as we pretty much live in the kitchen during the day as that is our hub.

So once the boys are all in bed...minus Ru I get a bit candle happy and light as many as I can and pop on the salt lamp.

Even without the log burner on the room is instantly "Hygge".

Jon and I usually cuddle up under a blanket with a warm cup of hot chocolate and enjoy watching a film.

I would probably say the lounge is my most favourite room to chill out in, the no toys rule probably helps too!

A Zebra And A Monkey Went On A Woodland Adventure

This morning we went off into the woods to find the Gruffalo.
We didn't quite manage to find him, but I did spot a Zebra and a Monkey having a chat on a tree branch!

#MySundayPhoto // What Ru wore

This is probably my favourite outfit from the last week.

Little Bird Pear T-shirt,
Little Bird Retro Jacket,
3Pommes skinny Jeans,
Ladybird emu Austraila boots,
Tesco's gloves and an old Nike bobble hat.

I love Little Bird by Jools Oliver and I've lost count of the amount of tee shirts he has.
The Little Bird Facebook group really is my downfall, ill go on when I'm bored and end up buying more than I really should have.

The Ladybird boots were a Christmas Present from my mum and I'm not sure who loves them more, me or Ru.

“To-to-ro? You're Totoro!... I bet you're Totoro...”

The house is starting to feel less holiday home and more homey now.
I'm slowly getting the boys rooms to how I want them to be.
The twins and Noah are a bit more picky than Ru, so when it comes to his room I get to have a little more fun and I'm able to put my stamp on it rather than be told it must be Pokemon or some sort of superhero.

One of my favourite films is My Neighbour Totoro.
After browsing amazon late one night I came across some Totoro wall stickers and instantly knew they would be perfect for Rupert's new room.

One has finally arrived and I couldn't wait to put it up!
Ru himself wasn't too fussed but I love it, and I'll have to keep showing him film in hopes he finally clicks and loves it as much as I do.

The Lurgy Has Come To Visit

The Norovirus has hit our house
HARD!

Oscar was the first one down, and that was what hit him when we were on our way to preview the new Lego store.
Then Rupert was sick all over me and then Oscar threw up all over his bed.
Then Noah decided he would do the same, then Jon passed out in the bathroom.
Alex was the last to be hit and he spent most of  yesterday being sick into a sick bowl.

Having only one washer-dryer combo the mountain of washing was too much for it to handle and it would have taken me days if not weeks to get it all done.
So I decided to visit a local laundrette.

I managed to get 3 loads done in the time it took for my washer to be only half way through a wash.

On the new house must buy list is an normal washer and a normal dryer.
So at times like this I wont be in such a pickle!

FYI .... washer dryers are rather pants if you have a large family!

I am still going strong and powering on with what needs to be done!
I don't usually get sick so fingers crossed this passes me by too.
We have so much to get done before the big move, getting sick is just not on the agenda!

Happy Sunday guys!

Twinning Is Winning

During the autumn / winter months you'll most likely find me in a cosy jumper and jeans hid underneath a mountain of blankets!

I've recently treated myself to some new jumpers, one because none of my old ones fit, and two because there are sooooo sooo soooooo many nice ones about!
(I keep telling myself that as it makes me feel better about the dreaded weight gain!)

And when I can get Ru a matching one means its must buy!
I'm really loving our matching Rainbow Bax and Bay jumpers.

No Fear

This little child of mine has no fear what so ever!
The other boys aren't even that keen on going down the slide let alone climbing up it, but ...... Little Ru he doesn't care!

He would probably climb the highest mountain if he wanted too!

Sunday Morning

Red sky in the morning shepherds warning.

The twins decided to wake me up this morning by pulling my blind up and showing me the sky.
Normally I wouldn't jump out of bed so fast but I definitely needed to snap a picture!

Ru-bear

You know when you look at your child and just wish that they would just stay that way forever!?

Ru may be hard to handle sometimes but I don't ever want him to change!
We found a new park this morning and he loved exploring all the different climbing frames.

Once we move I'm hoping I can get on with getting him re referred for speech and language therapy and then if need be getting him assessed for ASD.
