Just before the summer holidays I was invited to attend a blogger event in none other than the Disney Store in Oxford Street!!
I'm not sure I know anyone who would turn that down.
The event was to get our craft on with the help of the Epson Eco Tank printer and hear more about Disney's new film,
Finding Dory.
I'd never attended an crafting event before so I was rather excited about attending.
Being a massive Disney fan and having a special place for Nemo in my heart, I pretty much skipped into the store.
The event was up in a room just above the store.
After I signed in and collected my name badge I headed straight for the coffee.
I always feel extra awkward when attending events where I don't know anyone, so I headed off to the table and plonked myself down.
I soon started chatting to another blogger and started to feel less awkward.
Once everyone had arrived, we all gathered round to hear more about the Disney and Epson collaboration.
It was great to hear from Disney and from Epson.
Then Alice from More Than Toast did a demonstration on how to create the Dory crafts we were going to recreating ourselves after the talks.
I'm not going to get in too deep about the Espon Printer in this post, as I'm currently reviewing it.
So keep your eyes peeled for that.
It was a fun and entertaining event.
I haven't actually been to an event where there was more than just a general chin wag about the product.
It was nice to hear about the product and the film then be able to try our hand at some special Dory Origami.
I love origami, so this was right up my street and I thought I'd ace it straight away but Dory was pretty tricky.
If you fancy making some Dory origami at home you can find all the info and printables you need here!
The lunch looked amazing, if I wasn't meeting Jenny afterwards I would have tucked in straight away.
It looked as though all the other bloggers enjoyed it.
I'm off to see Finding Dory on Wednesday with the tickets I got from this event, so there will be another review on that, even though I'm sure most of you have seen it by now.
As I'm taking the boys and Sam (their cousin) my plan is to come home afterwards and get them all to try and make some Dory art, with the help of the Disney Inspired website and our Epson Eco Tank printer.
After we the event had finished, we were given a little goodie bag from Epson and a 20% discount voucher to spend in the Disney store.
After wandering around I finally decided on buying some more Tsum Tsum for the boys collection.
Massive thank you to Zeal Buzz for inviting me along.
It was lovely to meet you at the event.
xx
