Mother's Day Flowers || Flowerstudioshop Review

Mother's Day  is on Sunday. Stuck with what to get for the number one woman in your life?
Flowers are always a winner in my eyes! Not just any old flowers mind you, you want to look like you've actually put some effort into thinking about the perfect gift!

When looking at a flower delivery service you want a website that is easy to navigate, someone friendly on the other end of the phone/Email for help if needed and mainly plenty of choice!

www.flowerstudioshop.co.uk/ offers all those and wont leave you feeling disappointed.

They currently have a beautiful range Mother's Day flowers for any budget.
I was very kindly sent Eves Vintage Rose Bouquet £39.99 to review.
The price may seem a little shocking but I really think they are worth the money.
 You get the Vase sent along with the flowers and flower food, along with instructions of how to care for your flowers to get the most from them!

Everything is packaged nicely so there is no worry the vase is going to turn up smashe…

An extensive education programme is in place for schools to come and use the facilities and Under 1 Roof will be proud to host it…

#MySundayPhoto || Sensory Fun

On Friday the mini's, Jon and myself went along to the press launch of Under1Roof.
Ru really loved the sensory room!
I've been trying to find a place with a great sensory room for him around where we live but as of yet i haven't.

Seeing him in the room here makes me even more determined to find one.
So if any of you lovely people are in the Kent area and know of one please let me know.
Happy Sunday X

The Nation Goes Skipping Mad For Sport Relief #SureSkipathon is aiming to get Brits donating one million skips

• Skipping is one of the happiest sports as two thirds of Brits find it impossible to skip without a smile on their face (62 per cent)

Book Review || The Shadow Keeper

The Shadow Keeper by Abi Elphinstone.

Abi Elphinstone grew up in Scotland where she spent most of her childhood building dens, hiding in tree houses and running wild across highland glens. After being coaxed out of her tree house, she studied English at Bristol University and then worked as a teacher in Africa, Berkshire and London.

The Shadow Keeper is Abi's second book, her first being The Dreamsnatcher.
The Shadow Keeper picks up right from where The Dreamsnatcher ended.

Moll, Gryff, Sid and Alfie continue their adventures in a secret cove down by the sea. There are codes to crack, secrets to unravel and smugglers and witch doctors to battle past if the Tribe want to find the second Amulet of Truth and fulfil the Bone Murmur's prophecy. .

Noah and myself both love a bit of a dark magical story to get stuck into and The Shadow Keeper really hit the spot!

I read the book myself first as Noah said he'd like to read it by himself at bedtime. It's been such a lovely change…

Storm trooper biscuits,  Minion cakes, Shaun the sheep cakes, Spiderman biscuits.

Rave-A-Roo || Review

On Saturday I headed off to London with the Wildlings and Noah.
We met up with my sister in Law to be  Kelly and my nieces Isla and Esme in Elephant and Castle.
We were both there at 12 but because we weren't aware there was a station on both sides of the road it took us half an hour to find each other!
We were in London for an exciting event ..... One me and Kelly were probably more excited about than the kids.

Having spent much of my late teens / early twenties raving I was more than eager to get in and have a dance.
Rave•A•Roo is a family friendly rave that was hosted in the iconic Ministry of Sound nightclub.

There was a bar for the adults, A Chill out room with soft play for the younger ones, Uv tattoo station, Neon craft station Rave room with DJs! Inflatables to play with and Ravers handing out free glow sticks!!
 I'm sure we came away with more that we should have as Oscar kept finding the women and asking for more.
Noah and Isla loved the  UV tattoo station, having spent the mor…

#MySundayPhoto || Family

We had a lovely visit from my Great Aunt and Uncle this week.
It was really lovely to see them.  Normally we only ever see them at Christmas or special family events.
The boys were amazingly behaved which meant we were able to have tea and cake in peace and not have to contend with their usual noise.
It was lovely to have a catch up and for them to see our new (year old) house!
My Great Aunt is the only surviving sister out of 4. I love that I still have a connection to my Gran through her.

These lovely Roses were from them!

Mummy Time || Mini Spa Break

My friend Jenny and I decided that for our 30ths we'd go away on a mini spa break.

Searching the Internet we found a great deal for a Spa break at the Ashford International!
£109 for one 50 minute treatment in the Spa.  Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Over night stay and full use of the leisure facilities.
This would be the first time I've been away from the boys other than hospital stays!

From the moment we stepped inside the hotel we were impressed. The decor was lovely and the staff were very friendly!
We booked in early and headed to our room to unpack!
The Room::

I had a detox package - as part of that I got a detox smoothie.

So Once we'd unpacked we headed off to the Quench Bar to collect my smoothie.

It had green tea, honey, lemon and cucumber. It was ok but I didn't manage to drink all of it.
Our Spa treatments were at 3 o'clock, so after chilling in our room for half an hour we donned our gowns and headed off to the relaxation room

The Relaxation Room::
