One evil pea was bad enough....
But now there are BAGS of them on the loose!!!
The Evil Pea is up to no good and there's anarchy in the aisles!
Can our supermarket hero, Supertato, divert disaster?
Or is he going to need back up?
Supertato is back in a brand new book, after he last defeated the evil pea, we thought that was the end of it .....but No .... that naughty pea had a back up plan!
Written by Sue Hendra and Paul Linnet
Sue is the wonderfully funny, award-winning author and illustrator of some of our favourite picture books, like Barry the Fish with Fingers and Norman the Slug with the Silly Shell.Sue has always loved drawing and art was definitely the highlight of her school timetable. As she got older the prospect of going away to study art at university and LEAVE HOME was very enticing. She decided she wanted to go to Brighton and that’s where she did, in fact, end up doing her degree. Sue had a great time and got a job with Harry Potter publisher Bloomsbury immediately after she left.
The wildlings LOVE the first Supertato story and we read it at least 5x a week, so when they saw this new book, they actually jumped for joy!
Always a good sign when showing the boys new bedtime material!
The story had us on the edge of the bed, hoping our beloved hero could once again save the day!
This time he had some extra help from his super veggie friends.
The boys giggled ALOT and got rather worried when they saw a freezer full of evil peas!
They often check our kitchen for any loose peas that have escaped and luckily we haven't yet had a pea disaster!
The story is captivating and the illustrations are eye catching.
It's a great addition to our book shelf and I'm sure it will be read and loved as much as the first story.
All kids love superhero's, not many are fans of vegetables but mix the two together and you have a winning combination!
My favourite characters were the lollies and the wildings showed their loyalty and still say Supertato is their favourite!
We hope to see more from our starchy friend soon!
