Go, Go Power Rangers // Fisher-Price Imaginext Power Rangers Morphin Megazord

The twins are massive Power Ranger fans, and often dress up as their favourite Red Ranger.
I remember watching it as a child and always wanting to be the Pink Ranger, so its quite nice to see them enjoying something I used to enjoy.
We all enjoy watching some of the old school episodes on Netflix's.

When asked if we wanted to review the brand new imagined Morphin Megazord playset, I knew they would think Christmas had come early!

They play-set comes with the Red Ranger and the Black Ranger, I had a dreaded feeling they're would be massive arguments who got the red one, but that hasn't happened and they're both pretty happy to take it in turns being the red ranger.

Key Features;

4 activation Power Pads let little ones control the action
·         Turn Power Pad on left shoulder for awesome transformation: chest opens, eyes light up, and cannon pops out!
·         Turn another Power Pad in chest to fire Power Coins
·         Turn 3rd Power Pad above left knee to raise projectile launcher and push button to fire
·         Turn 4th Power Pad above right knee to activate chomping action
·         Back of playset features jail, meeting area, elevator and more  with multiple levels and platforms for added play
·         Figure fits in back of Megazords head
·         Includes Morphin Megazord, Red and Black Power Rangers figures, 6 Power Coins and 7 Power Missiles

The boys have endless fun playing with the Megazord, I've lost count of the times I've been shot by a missile.
They bring him down to watch Power Rangers with them and then try to act out the scenes with the play set.

I have been told, that this is the best toy ever!

I love all the detail on the Megazord, and I can that tell this toy won't break easily, It's been twin tested!.
It's totally worth the higher price tag, as this is a toy that will be played with daily for a long time to come.
I can't see the twins getting bored of it anytime soon.

Available from Argos for £49.99*
suitable for ages 3 and up.

Blaze and The Monster Machines Light & Launch Hyper Loop Play-set Review

Light & Launch Hyper Loop is a blaze and the monster machines track set that includes a vehicle launcher that spins in a 360-degree loop, sending blaze through 9 different stunt combinations and racing through the finish line!

If Ru isn't watching Blaze on Nickelodeon he's watching it on his iPad.
So when asked if we wanted to try out the Light & Loop Hyper Launch I knew I had to say yes.
Anything that lights up and launches cars into the air is always going to be a winner with Ru and when its a character that he loves its going to be a double winner!

The playset comes in pieces but its pretty simple to put together and most part just click together.
It took me about 5 minutes to build. Ru strangely enough was rather patient and sat watching and trying to help out.

Key Features:

·         Place Blaze in the Hyper Loop and charge it up using the lever to activate the Speed Lights
·         Press the release button and the Hyper Loop whips Blaze into an awesome 360-degree rotation and sends him blazing down the track
·         Move the towers to different points on the playset for 9 different combinations

Suitable for ages 3+

As soon as it was built Rupert was eager to get playing.
Once I had shown him how to turn the wheel, he was happily able to do it all on his own.
He loved watching Blaze fly through the sky.

Ru experimented with the different ramp positions to see what the different results would be, but he preferred it when the ramp was down and Blaze could do a little jump off it.

Ru being the dare devil that he is, had the play-set on the edge of the kitchen table and got Blaze to really fly off the end, he flew so fast he nearly reached the sofa!
I don't think I've ever heard him laugh so hard!

When the twins got home from school, Ru showed them how to operate it and they were very impressed with it, lining up to take turns in pressing the launch button.
Oscar liked lighting up the lights and Alex ever lined a few cars at the end of the run way for Blaze to jump over.
Blaze managed at least 5 cars!

Your child can also attach the light & launch hyper loop to the tunnels that come with any of light rider vehicles, as well as other blaze playsets and accessories.
Each sold separately and subject to availability.
You can buy the Light & Launch play-set from Argos for £24.99
It would make a fantastic birthday present, or even a special present for when your child has done something special.

Imaginext DC Super Friends Arkham Asylum Review

The twins are like most other boys and are super hero crazy!

When we were asked to review the new Imaginext DC Super Friends Arkham Asylum playset I had to say yes.

The Toys Features;
Turn bottom Power Pad to open and close jail cell doors,
Turn top power pad to reveal the disk launcher,
Load disks into launcher and press button to fire,
Playset includes 1 Batman figure and 3 projectiles.

The boys jumped for joy when they came home and found the playset on the table, Oscar came so protective over it, he hid it in his cupboard whilst he was at school so that Rupert couldn't find it and put a claim to it!

We found a few of our other imaginext figures and the boys instantly got Batman to put them all into jail.

The launch pad is hidden behind the bat signal so those sneaky criminals won't notice if they are trying to escape the Asylum.
With an easy push button the disks launch into the air shooting down the unsuspecting criminal, ready for Batman to go and get him and drag him back to where he belongs.

The twins took it in turns to be Batman, they each fought the baddie and got him locked up in the asylum.

Sometimes the bad guy would have robbed the bank, or even stolen the worlds most famous jewels from jewel tower, one time Batman caught the baddie stealing his favourite snack!

They would battle it out and if Batman won he would get to take the baddie back to Arkham and lock him up for good!

We even had poor Scooby-doo locked up in the Asylum at one point, goodness knows what he'd done to get there!

Imaginext playlets are great for letting their little imaginations run wild!

You can find the Arkham Asylum Play-set at Smyths Toys for £36.99.

Here's a little clip of the boys having a play with the playset, as you can tell by their excitement they are thrilled with it.
