Back To School Round Up

As much as I was dreading the summer holidays they have flown past and it's actually been really nice having all the boys home.

They're weren't half as many fights, tantrums or moaning that I thought was going happen and everyone minus Ru got on with each other.
So really it's been rather pleasant.

With all the boys heading back to school on Wednesday, Noah starting Y5, the Twins heading off into Y1 and little Ru starting Pre School I've had to get my head into gear and make sure everyone has what they need to start the new term.

One thing that I was pretty rubbish at last term was making sure the Twins had decent water bottles, so when I was asked if I wanted to receive these cool Brita Fill&Go active water bottles I was more than happy to say yes.
They come in four colours,
Blue, Green, Purple and Pink.

Key Features;
Eco-Friendly, convenient and economical,
Filters as you go,
Designed for great tasting water,
BPA free

The filter should be changed every 4 weeks.
You can find these here for £12.00

Unlike the Twins Ru won't receive a hot meal in nursery so he'll need to take a lunchbox in with him on the days that he's going to be in all day.

This awesome tinned Robot will be perfect for him to carry in.
Knowing Ru he'll won't eat whats on the inside but he'll enjoy playing with it whilst the other kids eat.

You can find this Lunchbox over www.findmeagift.co.uk for £14.99*

Next on the list was bags....
Noah's rather attached to his backpack so said he didn't want a new one just yet, but the twins really wanted to upgrade from a school book bag to a character backpack.
So I found a TMNT bag off amazon for Oscar and Alex has the Minion backpack which we were sent in our Minion Back To School Bundle.
I tried to get Rupert a school book bag but by the time I went to order it they were all sold out.
So I went back to trusty amazon and found a Lightening McQueen book bag.
Ru was delighted when he saw it.

Whilst browsing a Facebook selling site I came across someone selling two Joules raincoats.
One Ru's size and one the Twins size.
£10 each!!!
As it was a proper bargain I said I would take them.
They're in a great condition and look as good as new.

I decided to try and find another one for Oscar as Alex took the Dinosaur one but try as I might I couldn't find another bargain, so I put in Hatley raincoats on google search and ended back on amazon and found this one for £15!
I decided that was another good steal so I bought it and Ozzy loves it.

We haven't found a coat for Noah just yet but he's given me a run down on what he wants in a coat...
Camo....must be camo
well yeah thats about it lol!

Another must before school starts is Back To School Haircuts!
We took them all to where Jon and Ru get theirs done and they all managed to get it done at the same time.
Ru's barber wasn't there so he didn't end up with a hair cut, so he'll have to wait until his dude is back.

We still have to buy Noah some stationary and we're expecting Oscars school shoes to turn up today, as he wanted ones from Next as he didn't see any he liked in Tesco.

Noah got some new Etnies (as he doesn't need to wear school shoes, as at his school they have indoor shoes and outdoor shoes. So outside he wears his trainers and inside he wears some plain pumps.)
Alex got some light up school shoes from Tesco but only one lights up, so I'll have to take them back next week before he starts school.

Pork Farm Board Games Championships

Leading pork pie manufacturers, Pork Farms are one step closer to finding their Board Games Champion with the announcement of their semi-finalists this week ahead of the grand final to be held during National Board Games Week at the end of April.

I'm pretty excited that I've been invited along to take part in the semi finals over in Orpington this coming Friday.
I don't think there's anything more entertaining than a good board game.
After a week of preliminary heats, which saw over 40 UK micro pubs participate, Pork Farms, who joined forces with the Micro pub Association have announced their top-scoring winners who will be going on to the next round. And we can now reveal the winning micro pubs heading for the semi-finals are: Anchored In Worthing, Worthing One Inn The Wood, Orpington Penny Farthing, Crayford The Last Post Derbyshire, Derby

Review || Wilkinson Sword Intuition Ultra Moisture

So its my cousins wedding this weekend and I'm having to make my legs suitable for public viewing! Usually my legs are hidden and the only leg skin that see the light of day are the bits that peak out behind the holes in my jeans.

I don't tend to get my legs out but when I do, I do like them to look good!
I'm pretty lazy when it comes to shaving my legs, and I will let them grow rather wildly if I have no reason to show them off! Obviously something Jon loves hates with a passion!
I was very kindly sent Wilkinson Sword Intuition Ultra Moisture , to try! The fact its an all in one really appealed to me, because.... I am..... a lazy shaver!

Wilkinson Sword Intuition Ultra Moisture. Why use 3 razors when all you really need is 1! Intuition razors are the first 3-in-1 razors to lather, shave and moisturise in one easy step, giving your skin that naturally healthy glow. Potty Training Academy // Sticker Chart.

Ru has taken to potty training like a pro! He's had hardly any accidents and is no longer using nappies during the day.

I started him off in Bambino Mio training pants but after a day of a couple accidents he started taking himself to the toilet without any prompt from me.

I introduced him to his Potty Training Academy sticker chart on day one and he was very keen to fill it up, so even when he didn't need the loo, he would try and squeeze something out just to get a sticker.

We used both a toddler loo seat and the carry me potty, but he prefers to do his wee's just like his brothers...standing up. He sings putting out the fiiiire when he's weeing (god knows where he got that from! lol.)

The first real test was sending him to nursery and seeing if he returned with a bag full of wet pants. I made sure the washing machine was free for his return but when he came home wearing the same outfit that he went in in was such a win.

The sticker chart was a great help with gett…
