3 lessons I've learned from my mother

My mum has always been there for me, even when I was a moody teenager who thought she knew everything!!

Turns out I didn't and she did!! I used to laugh about her dress sense and her music taste, but these days we dress alike and I'm often singing along to the music that she loves!

• She has taught me just because I have meobius syndrome not to see my self as a victim and be brave! She never let me wallow in self pity for long, it wasn't her thing so she'd give me a kick up the bum and tell me to get on with it!

• She's shown me how to be the mother that I am! She is a brilliant role model and I couldn't be prouder to follow in her footsteps.

• She's taught me its ok to cry when things get to much. It's better to get it out and it isn't a sign of weakness, and she will always be there to listen.

My mum has been through a lot with me, from the moment I was born and nearly died right up to now when I'm bugging her constantly on the phone!
She's delivered two of my babies and was by my side during my c section with the twins.

Also let me not forget she also taught me how to make the worlds best spaghetti bolognese!!!
